Mrs. Tammie
My name is Tammie Tietz. I’ve worked at the CEC for eight years and I am the Lead Teacher in the Dreamers Room. Prior to joining the CEC, I earned my Associate Degree as a Medical Secretary and spent 18 years working at Columbus Community Hospital. My husband, Tom, is the Director of Public Works, and together we live in Cambria with our three children: Kiana, a high school senior, and Kayah and Casen, who are in eighth grade. In our spare time, we enjoy camping, fishing, and watching movies as a family. I truly enjoy working at the CEC, as it allows me to nurture meaningful connections with the children while supporting their growth and development.

Mrs. Podrasky
My name is Abby Podrasky and I am the lead teacher of the Builders room (2 year olds). I’ve been here ever since we first opened our doors! I attended Moraine Park Technical College and took courses in General Education and Early Childhood Education. Watching the children learn and grow, and hitting milestones is the most uplifting part of my role in childcare. Outside of work, my interests include baking, reading, hunting, and camping with my family.

Ms. Wendy
Hi, I’m Ms. Wendy. I have been in the childcare field since 1988. I have been at CEC since May of 2023. I love watching children grow and when I see an ahh-haa moment, THAT IS THE BEST!! I grew up on a farm outside of Fox Lake on the eastside. I currently live in Beaver Dam. I feel fortunate to see my great nieces and nephews everyday as they attend Cambria/Friesland School. I am thankful for the opportunity that you give to me each and every day, trusting me with your most precious cargo.

Miss Mak
I’m Makayla Busse, and I’ve been loving my time with the CEC for the past 3 years! Last October, I got the exciting chance to become the Lead Teacher in the Explorers room—such a fun adventure! I’m also wrapping up my Early Childhood Development studies and will be graduating this May. I live in Cambria with my parents and my younger brother. When I’m not teaching, I love going on walks with my mom and our dog, hanging out with my family, and soaking up the outdoors. Watching kids reach their big and little milestones is the best part of my day—I’m always there to cheer them on every step of the way!

Miss Kennedy
I'm Kennedy Smit, and I’ve been a part of the Child Enhancement Center for over 3 years as an Assistant Teacher. I’m also currently attending Madison College to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene. Although I will be attending school, I am grateful that I am able to work as much as I can to help out. I have really enjoyed working throughout all the different age groups and being able to see each child’s growth and development from such a young age. I have always loved being around children, and it makes my day to see them smiling!
