Hello Hilltopper students and families, 

My name is Jill Jones, and I am the elementary school counselor here at Cambria-Friesland Elementary School. I am so excited to be part of the staff and work in the community I live in and am passionate about.

My career has brought me a wide variety of experience with fifteen years as an agriculture teacher and then ten years being a grain accountant. In the fall of 2022 I started back in school to work on a master's degree in school counseling, and I am thrilled to be a practicing school counselor while I continue my education at UW-Superior. I will graduate in May of 2025.  

As the school counselor I enjoy working with students, parents and staff to support elementary students with their academics as well as their behavior and their social-emotional needs. 

I will be meeting with elementary classes once a week to provide group character lessons, as well as small group interventions and individual therapy when needed. 

This year the counseling department on the elementary side welcomes Madison Nelson as the elementary school counseling intern.
